1. Terms of Use

This website is owned and operated by FinanceFit. By accessing and using our services, you (the "User") agree to be bound by the terms set forth below. FinanceFit provides digital financial education courses, e-books, and physical products primarily for children aged 6–12, under adult supervision.

Although the content and community are designed for children, only adults (18+) may register or purchase through the site. Access by children is allowed only under the guidance and supervision of a responsible adult.

By registering, purchasing, or using our services, you enter into a binding agreement with FinanceFit. These terms apply to all use of the website and associated content and services.

2. Prohibited uses

In addition to other terms as set forth in the Agreement, you are prohibited from using the Website and Services or Content: (a) for any unlawful purposes; (b), to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others: (e) to her harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability: (f) to submit false or misleading information: (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Website and Services, third party products and services, or the internet: (h) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape: (i) for any obscene or immoral purposes: or (j) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Website and services, third party products and services, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Website and Services for violating any of the prohibited uses.

3. Registration and Responsibilities of Adults

Only adults (18 years or older) may register accounts. As the registering adult, you:

  • Are responsible for all use of the site under your account.

  • Must ensure that any participating child is supervised and follows the community rules.

  • Agree that FinanceFit bears no responsibility for any misuse of the platform by children under your supervision.

4. Child Protection and Data Protection

Child protection is a top priority. We comply with South Africa’s POPIA, the GDPR (where applicable), and all relevant data protection laws.

  • Parents or guardians must provide consent before any child may access and sign up for the community platform.

  • We collect only the necessary information (e.g., name and surname for certificates).

  • No personal content (photos, videos, real names beyond certificate use, addresses, or contact details) may be uploaded or shared in our community.

5. Community Rules and Safe Communication

FinanceFit offers a community for parents of the children to interact and learn. We expect all users to uphold a respectful, safe, and age-appropriate environment.

Strictly Prohibited:

  • Sharing personal information (real names, addresses, contact info).

  • Uploading or distributing media of a personal nature (photos, videos, documents).

  • Bullying, inappropriate language, hate speech, or advertising.

Violations may result in posts being removed or removal from the platform.

6. Passwords and Security

  • You may not share your login details with others.

  • FinanceFit takes reasonable measures to protect your account, but you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

  • Unauthorized sharing may result in account termination and legal action.

7. Safe Browsing and Third-Party Links

Although the Website and Services may link to other resources (such as websites, mobile applications, etc.), we are not, directly or indirectly, implying any approval, association, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any linked resources, unless specifically stated herein. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of, any businesses or individuals or the content of the resources. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, products, services, and content of any other third parties. This Agreement does not transfer to you any intellectual property owned by FinanceFit or third parties, and all rights, titles, and interests in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with FinanceFit. All trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Website and Services, or trademarks of registered trademarks of TMF digital or its licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Website and Services may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Website and Services grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any of TMF digital or third-party trademarks. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any content without written permission.

9. Permitted Use and Copyright Protection

All downloadable materials provided by FinanceFit4Kids, including but not limited to e-books, activity sheets, videos, and printables, are strictly for personal, non-commercial use by the purchasing individual or household. These materials may only be used for educational purposes within the purchaser’s immediate family or by educators in a registered classroom setting (where applicable and explicitly permitted).

Any reproduction, redistribution, resale, or sharing of materials—whether online, via print, or through any other platform—with third parties, groups, or the public is strictly prohibited. This includes uploading content to forums, file-sharing sites, or social media.

Violation of this clause will result in immediate suspension or termination of user access without refund and may lead to legal action for breach of intellectual property rights under applicable South African copyright laws.

10. Privacy and Cookies

FinanceFit complies with data protection laws under POPIA and GDPR. We collect only the necessary information to provide our services. Use of cookies is standard practice and helps improve your user experience.

11. Competitions

Occasionally, FinanceFit may run competitions. Each competition will have specific terms, including eligibility, entry requirements, and prize conditions. Participation is voluntary.

12. Purchases

Digital Products

Courses purchased include lifetime access unless otherwise specified.

Upon successful payment via PayPal, access is granted instantly.

Payments via Payfast may take up to 24 hours for manual activation.

Login credentials and certificates will be emailed to you.

You may use the same account for multiple children. See detailed instructions in the course materials on how to generate a certificate for multiple children. Certificates will be generated using the child’s full name and surname during registration.

Physical Products

Physical products are only shipped within Africa through our website.

For international customers, please purchase via Amazon.

Orders will be confirmed via email. Shipping may take up to 15 working days.

Shipping fees are excluded from the product price.

13. Payments

All payments are processed securely via PayPal or Payfast.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and are available options via Payfast.

Orders are processed once payment is confirmed.

FinanceFit reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion.

Cardholders under 18 may not make payments.

14. Returns and Refunds

Digital courses and e-books are non-refundable due to full access to all course modules upon purchase and downloadable content.

If a physical product is faulty, contact us at help@financefit4kids.com for correction or support.

Faulty physical products may be returned or exchanged.

15. Quoting and Linking FinanceFit

If you wish to reference, quote, or link to FinanceFit or its materials, you may not imply endorsement or affiliation without written consent. For permissions, email help@financefit4kids.com.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TMF digital and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys` fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them as a result of a relating or relating to your content, your use of the Website and Services or any wilful misconduct on your part.

FinanceFit is provided "as is" for educational and entertainment purposes. We strive for uninterrupted service but do not guarantee availability at all times.

We accept no liability for:

  • Website downtime

  • Incorrect or incomplete educational content

  • User behavior or misuse

  • Loss or damage of any kind resulting from use

This does not exclude liability for death or injury caused by our negligence.

17. Product and Service Providers

We may partner with other companies to deliver certain products and services. These providers are only permitted to use your information as necessary to perform their services or comply with legal obligations. We ensure that we only share personal information with third parties whose privacy practices align with ours. Our service providers are restricted from using your data for their own marketing purposes.
